Imagine, here in this moment, you don't have to do, be, or become anything. Exactly where you are becomes an invitation to meet yourself right now. This is your thread.
Through my kind and empathetic attunement, as well as non-judgement approach, our container becomes a mirror and loom for your continued process to unfold, revealing more and more of your own true nature along the way.
Depth Psychological Somatic Exploration is a starting point, wherever you find yourself.

This page used to be a list of my
credentials & experiences, written in a way that felt professional but also a little distant. The truth is, that’s not how I work with clients and not how I move through the world. I am certainly warm - but distant is not my style. My hope is that this page gives you a feel for who I am and how I work, so you can decide we’d be a good fit. (though for those curious you can find the resume details at the end)

Within the body you are wearing now, inside the bones and beating in the heart, lives the one you have been searching for, for so long. But you must stop running away and shake hands. The meeting doesn’t happen without your presence, without your participation.

My goal is to support individuals navigating life changes, emotional pain, or a desire to reconnect with themselves.
%20(10).png)
Everyone deserves to know the truth of who they are, to feel worthy and loved.
My goal is to support individuals navigating life changes, emotional pain, a desire to reconnect with themselves., or in general, they're immersed in the work of somatics and spirituality but find its a bit messy and are looking for containment for their process.
Many of the individuals I work with are finished with old survival strategies - self-abandonment, self-censorship, self-forgetting, codependency, or performance-based roles - ways of coping that once helped them. Where they find themselves now is stuck, heavy and at the same time, experiencing difficulty around integrating their past experiences so they can feel whole and participate in their life more fully.
What you want to know is if I'm good at my job and if I can help you - I can tell you that though I've been doing this for less time than those seasoned, I am good at what I do and I'm constantly learning as I am a student, too.
Our work together works beneath the surface, slowly uncovering and bringing back to life your birth-right inner authority, prior to the conditioning and coping.
I get this work on a personal level because I’ve been there and the work never ends, so you’ll find comfort in knowing that I too, do this work - day in and day out, as every practitioner should. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, lost, confused, and disoriented, and I also know how to find your way back. For me, my go-to coping strategy used to be intellectualizing and avoiding. (It looked like this: “I’m really disoriented. Interesting. Let’s analyze emotional flooding. What does the research say? How do other people handle handle it?”) Eventually I realized that actually feeling my feelings was a lot faster than studying them. The upside? I learned a lot along the way - and I’m happy to share what I’ve learned so you don’t have to spin your wheels the same way.

Our work together focuses on centering the slow movement of psyche and body, so that we can build a relationship centered in consent, empathetic listening, attunement, and non-judgement.

I’m not a licensed psychotherapist. My path has come through a different doorway - through direct mentorship and Jungian Analysis, as a student, facilitator, educator, doula, and midwife’s apprentice. All of my experience, education, & mentorship taught me that growth and healing can’t be forced. Our true self and path unfold in their own timing, and sometimes what’s needed is someone steadily attuned, present, and able to gently meet you where you’re at.
The word psychotherapy comes from the Greek for “soul” and “to tend.” That’s how I see my role: tending to soul, not diagnosing or fixing. Plato said the highest calling is to midwife the soul - a truth I carry into my work. Like birth, inner transformation can be messy, unpredictable, and powerful. And, just like birth, it’s not something we’re meant to do alone.

A true embodiment of Jupiter in Sagittarius and Sun in Scorpio — through and through. Adventure and the quest for meaning run through my veins; my bones are built from wild passion (and a little calcium). Since I was a little girl, I’ve gravitated toward both the imaginal and the mud, making a mess of it wherever I could. That theme continues to guide me.
I come alive riding bikes, traveling, reading, collecting books, exploring the somatic unconscious, moving through dance, savoring dairy-free ice cream, and curling up at home with my little but robust family in Southern Illinois, near the Shawnee National Forest.
For many years my eating disorder, firefighting and career orientation shaped my identity. Eventually, I burned out and became debilitatingly ill, unable to work or function. Stubborn to the bone I resisted the fork in the road until life demanded change. Turning inward I became a yoga teacher and left a committed relationship to honor my own integrity. Under the scorching waters of self-remembering I found Jungian Analysis with a Somatic Experiencing orientation. There, I began to recover my Soul. To remember who I really am and what I am here for.
A decade later, the spiral continues with many more turns along the way. My devotion now is to the mystery of transformation itself. Bridging psyche and soma, body and soul, the imaginal and the concrete.
