Hi there, welcome to my website.

Around here we start small, rest often, lovingly encourage, listen compassionately without judgement, and value the slow movement of soul over the fast-paced lifestyle we're all accustomed to; I hold space for you to explore your own inner processes and the possibly distant but not lost, home of your soul, your body

In working with me we'll always start where you are, wherever that may be, I'm radically committed to meeting you there.

The truth is the journey inward takes heartaudacity and a hell of a lot of courage; it will crack you open and when it does or if it already has, we'll equip you with resource and support within the well held container we've created together.

My holistic approach is rooted in rekindling the relationship between your body and soul. What is hidden between realms is a trove of life force energy patiently waiting for you to re-negotiate your relationship to it.

I stoke inspiration from a blend of wisdom traditions. Imagine a map guiding you through the hidden realms of your mind and body. This map is woven from threads of Jungian psychology, Somatic Psychology, Somatic Experiencing (Peter Levine's work), Internal Family Systems, and the insights of other brilliant minds like Marian Dunlea and Bill Plotkin. We'll explore these realms together, paying close attention to your nervous system and the wisdom held within your body and dreams.

My background is diverse, weaving together my training as a yoga teacher (Iyengar method), a former Midwives Apprentice, and my own deep personal healing journey over the years with a Jungian Analyst-in-training and Somatic Experiencing practitioner. I believe in the power of gentle guidance, honoring your unique path, and attuning to the landscape of your inner world.

Finally, I am a passionate wife to a loving soul seeker himself and a momma to our son Rio, who together, have really been a River of renewal to my wild instinctual nature and therefore connection to myself, them, others, and the earth.

What is Depth Psychology?

Think of your mind like an iceberg. The part you see above the water is your conscious mind – the thoughts you're aware of. But there's a much bigger part below the surface – your unconscious. Depth psychology is like diving down to explore that hidden part, where you can find valuable insights and healing.

Exploring the Intertwined Worlds of Trauma, Stress, and Soul Loss

Life's challenges can leave deep imprints, sometimes more than we realize. Beyond the everyday stresses, there lie deeper experiences – trauma, chronic stress, and a pervasive sense of disconnect, often described as "soul loss." These aren't just abstract concepts; they're deeply interwoven, impacting us on every level.

The Body's Silent Story: Trauma and chronic stress hijack our nervous system, leaving us feeling constantly on edge, exhausted, or numb. Our bodies become storehouses of unexpressed emotions, manifesting as physical aches, digestive issues, sleep disturbances, and a weakened immune system. It's as if our very cells are whispering stories of past hurts, impacting our present well-being.

The Unseen Wounds of the Soul: Beyond the physical, trauma and stress can erode our sense of self. We may feel disconnected from our passions, our purpose, and even our own bodies. This "soul loss" can manifest as a feeling of emptiness, meaninglessness, or a sense of being adrift. It's a dimming of our inner light, a disconnect from the vibrant core of who we are.

Reclaiming Your Wholeness: By understanding the intricate connection between our bodies, minds, and soul, we can begin to reclaim our wholeness. Somatic practices, mindful awareness, and depth psychology can help us gently unravel the layers of trauma and stress, reconnect with our bodies' wisdom, and rediscover the spark of our souls.

Ryan - Ceremony Participant

"The birthday ceremony for our niece was magical. The setting was intimate and joyful, and the ceremony itself was thoughtfully crafted. It created a sense of connection and community that I haven't experienced at other birthday celebrations. It was a truly memorable occasion."

Just as a skilled midwife gently supports the journey unfolding for mother and baby, the Midwife remains steadfast in her gaze during the unpredictable nature of birth; Similarly, I will walk beside you with compassion and encouragement as you uncover your own inner light. Together, we will carefully tend to this inner flame, exploring the shadows, embracing the unknown, and cultivating a deeper connection to yourself.

“‎You're not the same as you were before," he said. You were much more... muchier... you've lost your muchness.”
